Accessibility Statement
Heritage Early Childhood Centre (Heritage) strives to ensure that its service is inclusive and accessible to people with disabilities. The service upholds that every person has the right to live with dignity, equality, comfort and independence.
Website accessibility covers all disabilities that impact access to the world wide web, specifically visual, auditory, physical, verbal, cognitive and neurological disabilities. Refer to: World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). Heritage recognises that meeting website accessibility standards is an ongoing process. The service currently utilises the UserWay Accessibility Widget to improve its compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
The UserWay widget can be enabled by clicking the accessibility menu icon that appears on the corner of the page and selecting all relevant options. If you are experiencing difficulty with any content on our site or the UserWay widget, or would like a document in a different format, please contact us.
Other Languages
Heritage recognises that a high number of families within our community speak English as their second language. If you would like our website content or any document in a different language, please contact us. In addition, the National Telephone Interpreter Service (TIS National) is also available by contacting Ph: 131 450. This is a free interpreting service for people with limited or no English proficiency and is available 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
