Welcome to Heritage Early Childhood Centre. Our aim is to ensure each child is given a chance to play, discover and grow in an atmosphere of care and mutual respect where the dignity and rights of the child are preserved at all times.

We believe in ‘learning through play’ with enquiry–based learning underpinning the learning process. We understand that children learn best when the program reflects their interests and has meaning for them personally.

We recognise that teaching and learning have continued to take place on the land on which our Centre stands for many thousands of years, and we are honoured to continue to live and learn on this Land. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and acknowledge the Traditional Custodians, The Ngunawal, Ngunnawal and Ngambri Peoples of the Canberra region.

Our Vision for Reconciliation outlines our commitment to moving forward together with equity and equality, and our Reconciliation Action Plan outlines how we embed reconciliation into our everyday practice.
