Preschool Families - We are fast approaching the end of the year which means we are doing a 'library bag recall'. If you could please ensure to bring your child's library bag and book back to Heritage over the next week that would be great! We will be pausing sending them home until 2024 (for returning preschoolers) so we can ensure all our books are accounted for and in good nick!
Preschool Families - The long-awaited time of year for water play has finally arrived! Please ensure to pack your child's sun-safe swimmers in their bag each day, as well as a full set of spare clothes. Sun-safe swimmers means a rashie that covers shoulders and shorts that cover thighs. As we head into these warmer weeks, the preschoolers are also welcome to come to Heritage in their swimmers if they wish.
Toddler Families: Our children’s Learning summaries are almost ready to be sent out and for discussion at our upcoming parent-teacher interviews next Thursday 30/11 & Friday 1/12, 9am-4pm. The timesheets with 15minutes time slots will be placed on the table next to the sing in/out laptop at the front entrance. Please let us know if you prefer face to face or phone interviews on the sheet.

Parent Webinar - Help Your Child Thrive at School
Our Preschool Graduation will be held on 9 December from 10am-12.00pm. The graduation will be held in the front area, with celebrations including live music, food and crafts in the big garden. Please RSVP via:

Next Monday, 29th of May is Reconciliation Day and an invitation for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. The National Arboretum Canberra is holding an event from 10am – 3pm with performances, workshops and storytelling. Hope to see you there 😊

Factsheet For Families - Testing Children with a Rapid Antigen Test
Preschool Room 7 Feb: Children are encouraged to engage in sharing opportunities where they can share photos on the Smart Board of special experiences they have participated in on the weekend/holidays. Email your photos to [email protected]. We just ask you to limit sharing to once a month.
We ask that no items from home are to be brought into the centre. This ensures no items are lost, damaged or mixed up with Heritage resources.
Preschool Rooms - Library Bags: The library bag basket is located just outside the preschool door in the front foyer where your child can place library bags in the morning. Hannah will be our room librarian, so if you have any questions, please see her or send us an email. Your bag will also come with a little note about respect for our books/bags and the procedures of exchange. Please have a read through with your child. Also if you still have a bag from last year, please return soon so we can get the books into our new system.
Preschool Room Family Photos: A friendly reminder to send us your family photo for our community wall, it is filling up quickly and the preschoolers love telling their friends about you!
